Research Behind Papilozumib & HPV

Papilozumib is part of Hifas da Terra’s active clinical research programme in women’s intimate health and HPV.

A registered human study sponsored by Hifas da Terra evaluated Papilozumib Oral in HPV-positive women. The completed exploratory study included 21 women aged 30–65 years who received Papilozumib for 3 months.

The study investigated changes in the vaginal and intestinal microbiota and also assessed outcomes including HPV status and viral clearance, vaginal health, safety and tolerability.

Hifas da Terra is also developing further clinical research in HPV-positive women, including a randomised multicentre study evaluating Papilozumib vaginal gel alone and in combination with oral Papilozumib. HPV clearance is included among the study outcomes.

This ongoing research is particularly relevant because Papilozumib has been specifically developed around immune function, mucosal health and intimate microbiota support.

Papilozumib is a food supplement. Current research should not be interpreted as proof that Papilozumib treats, cures or eliminates HPV, and it is not a substitute for cervical screening, vaccination or medical care.
